WhatsApp Business App Reportedly Starts Receiving Liquid Glass Design Update
WhatsApp is reportedly rolling out the new Liquid Glass design for the business app users, following its rollout for the iOS 26 app back in October 2025. By now, it should have been available to all iPhone users. However, there is no information regarding the delay.
According to the latest report by WABetaInfo, the Meta-owned instant messaging app is now rolling out the Liquid Glass interface to some users on the WhatsApp Business app.

Liquid Glass Design Rolling Out to WhatsApp Business Users
As seen in the shared screenshot, WhatsApp has started bringing the Liquid Glass design to some Business app users. The design was originally introduced with iOS 26 and offers a more modern interface built around transparency and a frosted-glass-like visual effect.
The new element of Liquid Glass is the redesigned tab bar, which now appears as a floating UI element. Its translucent, layered effect adds a greater sense of depth and visual hierarchy to the interface.
Liquid Glass is also said to offer a new experience with buttons. Now, buttons across the business app have been updated to match the Liquid Glass look in iOS 26. The app shows buttons with a frosted, layered glass effect. Additionally, the context menu has also been updated to match the Liquid Glass design, which adopts a translucent, glass-like appearance.
The report further stated that a significant number of WhatsApp Business users have shared on social media that the Liquid Glass interface is now available for them, but a few users have also reported occasional bugs affecting the tab bar after the update.
As noted, the new Liquid Glass design language is currently available to some business users. A wider rollout is expected in the near future.
