Adobe Brings Photoshop, Acrobat, and Express to ChatGPT for Free — Here’s How to Use

Adobe has been building the foundation for conversational experiences across its apps for several years. Now, the company is making three of its leading creative and productivity apps, Photoshop, Acrobat, and Adobe Express, available for free directly inside ChatGPT.

ChatGPT users can now enhance images, edit PDFs, and update designs right inside ChatGPT. Adobe aims to provide ChatGPT's 800 million users with the best creative and productivity experience by offering its apps - right inside the chat.

Adobe Apps That Are Coming to ChatGPT

Photoshop: ChatGPT users can now edit images using Photoshop directly inside the chat for free. All available features use the same Photoshop controls you'd find in the native app. Users can:

• Adjust specific parts of an image
• Fine-tune settings such as brightness, contrast, and exposure
• Modify backgrounds, including removing or blurring them
• Apply creative effects like Glitch, Glow, and more while preserving original image quality

Adobe Express is an all-in-one design, photo, and video tool that makes content creation simple for users. With this, ChatGPT users can:

• Browse Adobe Express's extensive library of professional-looking designs to find the right one for any occasion
• Add or edit text with relevant details
• Replace images or change backgrounds to match the theme
• Animate their designs
• Make iterative edits to their design - all from within the chat, without switching apps

Acrobat: With Acrobat, ChatGPT users can:

• Upload and edit PDFs directly within the chat while maintaining formatting and quality
• Extract text or tables from any PDF
• Organize, rearrange, and merge multiple files
• Compress or convert documents into PDF

Moreover, you don't need a paid ChatGPT subscription to use the Adobe apps. They're accessible in all regions where OpenAI's Apps SDK is available. Adobe also confirmed that the company is working with OpenAI to bring these apps to users in the EU and UK soon.

How to Use Adobe Apps on ChatGPT?

• Open ChatGPT and start your prompt - just don't forget to mention "Adobe Photoshop," "Adobe Acrobat," or "Adobe Express" after the prompt.
• If you want to use Photoshop, first upload an image and describe the edits you want in simple words. Photoshop will apply the adjustments or effects for you. For example: "Make the background blurry using Photoshop."
• With Adobe Express, you can start by choosing from a wide library of professionally designed templates, then type prompts like "update the text" or "replace the image".
• You can use Acrobat by giving prompts like, "Extract information from my scanned document using Acrobat."

Note:

• Photoshop for ChatGPT supports image uploads up to 20MB. Currently, only JPEG and PNG formats are supported right now.
• Acrobat for ChatGPT supports files up to 100MB, but it does not include generative AI features or advanced tools such as digital signatures and watermarks.
• Not all Adobe Express features are available in ChatGPT yet.
