Amazon’s Bee Frontier and Eclipse AI Wearables Listen to Your Conversations and Turn Them Into To-Dos
Amazon-owned Bee has launched two new AI devices that listen to your conversations and turn them into notes, to-dos and reminders. The Bee Frontier is a wearable priced at $74.99, while the Bee Eclipse is a card-sized device that sticks to the back of your phone and costs $99.99. These are Bee's first products since Amazon bought the company last year.
The Bee Frontier can be worn on the wrist or clipped onto clothing. It comes with dual microphones that filter out background noise, IP67 water resistance, USB-C charging and up to seven days of battery life. It is available now on Amazon in the US in Onyx, Lavender and Sage colours.

The Bee Eclipse attaches magnetically to the back of a smartphone, so there is nothing extra to wear. It comes in Silver, Midnight, Honey and Blush, and Amazon says it will go on sale soon after the Frontier.
Both have a single button to turn them on or off and a light that shows when they are listening.
What Bee actually does with your conversations
Bee listens through the day and picks out what matters. If you make dinner plans with friends, it can add them to your calendar. It can take notes in a lecture or keep track of what a doctor told you during a visit. It also connects with Gmail, Google Calendar and Outlook to draft emails and set up meetings.

Basic summaries are free, with 14 days of memory. A Bee Pro plan at $11.99 a month adds unlimited summaries, suggested to-dos and links with Amazon shopping and Alexa+, so you can ask an Echo speaker to read out your Bee to-dos.
Bee says it does not keep raw audio. Recordings are processed in real time and then deleted, and transcripts are encrypted with keys stored on your device. Even so, a device that listens all day raises a fair question about the people around you, who may not know they are being recorded.
What Indian buyers can get instead
Amazon has not said whether Bee will launch in India. For now, the closest option here is Plaud, which brought its Note Pro and NotePin S AI recorders to India in August. The NotePin S costs Rs 19,990 and the Note Pro Rs 20,990, both sold on Amazon, Blinkit and Plaud's website.
Plaud supports more than 112 languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Bengali, which matters for Indian users who switch languages mid-conversation. Bee is far cheaper, but Amazon has not said which languages it supports. Its price would need to hold up after import costs for it to undercut Plaud here.
