Samsung Brings AI And 3D Display Tech To Retail Spaces: Includes Glasses-Free 3D Displays
Samsung has showcased a new set of enterprise-focused solutions at its Business Experience Studio in Gurugram, centered around connected systems for retail and banking environments.

The highlight here is its new “Spatial Signage,” a glasses-free 3D display designed for commercial use. The idea is to move beyond static digital boards and create more interactive visual setups inside physical spaces.
A Look At The 3D Display
The new signage uses a system that creates depth without requiring 3D glasses. The display is 2.15 meters in size, supports 4K resolution, and uses a vertical 9:16 format. It also supports rotating visuals, which could be used for product showcases or ads.
Samsung says the display is powered by its Quantum Processor and includes features like 4K upscaling, HDR processing, and an anti-glare panel to maintain visibility in bright environments. The unit is also relatively slim at 52mm, making it easier to install in stores or public spaces.
AI Tools And Content Management
Alongside the hardware, Samsung is focusing on software tools that handle content creation and management.
Its VXT platform allows businesses to control and update display content remotely across multiple locations. This could be useful for retail chains or banks managing several outlets.
There’s also an AI Studio tool that can convert standard images into 3D-ready visuals using prompts, reducing the need for manual design work.
Where This Fits In
The broader idea is to turn physical spaces into more responsive environments.
In retail, this could mean more dynamic product displays and real-time promotions. In banking, the same setup can be used for queue updates or customer messaging.
Samsung is also tying this into its Knox platform for security and its Galaxy ecosystem for multi-device workflows.
