AUTHOR PROFILE OF Emmanuel Barretto

Emmanuel Barretto is an Assistant Video Producer who took the scenic route into tech content. Back in 2011, he was just another kid watching tech YouTube, always wondering what it would actually feel like to be on the other side of the camera talking about gadgets. That curiosity sat in the background while he spent three years working as an architect — but even then, he felt like he was meant to do something more. Design was always the pull, and he realized it didn't have to mean settling for physical things alone. So he made the jump into designing experiences instead; on camera talking tech, in the edit shaping a story, and along the way, sidequests in art curation, furniture design, and interior design. Since making that leap, he's tested and talked about more than 50 smartphones on camera, alongside gaming hardware, monitors, and laptops — bringing that same design-first eye to how a product actually looks, feels, and fits into daily use. Off the clock, you'll likely find him making short films, painting on glass, or helping renovate someone's home.
