Speaking of the Lumix GX9, it is the successor of the Lumix GX8 which was launched back in 2015 with few upgrades such as the 4K recording support and optical image stabilization (OIS).

The new model offers better specifications at a lower price compared to the previous generation. It borrows the design features from GX85 launched in 2016. It has 20MP Live MOS image sensor similar to the Lumix GX8 but misses out on the low-pass filter, that is powered by the Venus Engine.

The new camera is capable of capturing 4K videos at 24 and 30 frames per second. Users can also shoot full-HD (1080p) videos at up to 60fps. It is also capable of detecting face and eyes of the subject, thanks to a contrast AF "Depth from Defocus" system.

The camera also supports 6fps burst shooting with continuous AF and 9fps option specifically when shooting with single shot AF mode. The camera also loaded with Auto marking feature. Besides, the Post Focus mode allows users to change the focus in the existing shots. The camera also has a monochrome shooting mode that claims to enhance the film producing experience.

The Panasonic Lumix ZS200, on the other hand, comes with 15x optical zoom-supported Leica lens with a 35mm equivalent of 24-360mm focal length. The camera supports macro focusing at a distance of 3cm. It packs a 20,1MP BSI CMOS sensor and has an inbuilt flash. It also offers 10fps burst shooting option when using the AF-S mode or 6fps burst on the AF-C mode.

The camera is capable of taking 4K videos in different frame rate ratios, including 24fps, 25fps, and 30fps and has five-axis image stabilization.

The Lumix ZS200 features a 2.33M-dot live viewfinder with a 3-inch touchscreen. Connectivity options include Wi-Fi and Bluetooth alongside USB charging support. Panasonic is yet to announce the pricing and availability of both the cameras for the Indian market.
