Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII With Alpha 9 Technology Launched In India
Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII, a premium compact camera was launched in India. The camera is priced at Rs. 96,990 and is available at all Sony centers, Alpha Flagship stores, authorized Sony dealers, and major electronic stores. The new RX100 VII is the latest point-and-shoot flagship camera under the RX series.
Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII Alpha 9
The Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII uses a full-frame mirrorless camera Alpha 9 technology, that enhances both stills and moving shots, Sony says. The Sony Cyber-Shot RX100 VII comes with a new 1-inch-stacked 20.1-megapixel CMOS sensor and uses a 24-200mm zoom lens with an aperture range of f/2.8-4.5. Sony says the Cyber-Shot RX100 VII has A9-level speed performance and packs real-time tracking and AF like the A9.
Sony also says the Cyber-Shot RX100 VII can shoot up to AF/AE (autofocus/automatic exposure) calculation per second and can shoot up to 60 and 20fps burst shooting. The camera is also capable of a 180-degree flip screen. The point-and-shoot camera packs a 3.5mm microphone jack for external mic uses.
Sony Point-And-Shoot Cameras
While the latest Sony point-and-shoot camera packs powerful specs, one can't help but notice the drastic demand drop for DSLR, SLR, point-and-shoot cameras. Most smartphones today feature a multiple-camera setup. For a regular user, a smartphone is a gadget that has overtaken the camera's role in many aspects. Yet, there is a niche market and demand for cameras like the Sony Cyber-shot and the launch of the RX100 VII camera shows that there are takers.
