ViewSonic unveils a new line up of Professional Gaming Monitors at CES 2016
ViewSonic has introduced a new line of professional level gaming monitors at the CES 2016 in Las Vegas. For those unaware ViewSonic is an American manufacturer specializing in making visual technology products including Monitors, LCD/LED TVs etc.
The new line-up aimed at professionals and gamers include four new monitors namely ViewSonic XG2703-GS, XG2401, XG2701 and XG2700-4K. Among these the ViewSonic XG2703-GS is the costliest of the lost at $1217 (Rs 79,105 approx.) while the XG2401 is the cheapest at $404 (Rs 26,260 approx.)

ViewSonic XG2703-GS features a 27 inch QHD (2560x1440p) SuperClear IPS panel with a refresh rate as high as 165Hz. It also includes an Nvidia G-Sync technology which helps to eliminate screen-tearing and stuttering to ensure a smooth gaming experience. ViewSonic has announced that they will start shipping this monitor in March at a premium of $1217 (Rs 79,105 approx.)
On the other hand the ViewSonic XG270-4K is the slightly cheaper alternative which too comes with a 27 inch 4K (3840x2160p) SuperClear IPS panel and supports AMD's Free-Sync technology. Other specs include a modestly fast 5ms response time, dedicated Game mode, Flickr-fee backlight and Blue Light filter to reduce eye strain.

In terms of connectivity the ViewSonic XG270-4K comes with a Display Port 1.2a and HDMI 2.0 with support for 4K at 60Hz. The all new 4K monitor is priced at $913 (Rs 59,345 approx.) which is markedly lower than the XG2703-GS. It worth noting that, despite sporting a higher resolution (4K) the ViewSonic XG270-4K comes with a much lower refresh rate as compared to the XG2703-GS.
Beside these two monitors ViewSonic has also launched two 24 inch Full HD (1080p) monitors with a 144Hz refresh rate and support for AMD Free-Sync variable refresh rate technology. Apart from that ViewSonic XG2401 comes with an impressive refresh rate of 1ms and a Smart Sync black stabilization feature. The XG2401 monitor is priced at $404 (Rs 26,260) and will start shipping later this month.
