Amazon Prime Day 2026 Dates Announced: Here's When the Sale Starts and What Deals to Expect

Amazon has officially announced the dates for Prime Day 2026 in India. The company's annual members-only shopping event will run from July 4 to July 6, giving Prime subscribers 72 hours to access deals, new product launches, and exclusive offers.

This year marks the 10th edition of Prime Day in India. The event will begin at 12:00 AM on July 4 and continue until 11:59 PM on July 6.

Prime Day 2026 Will Run for 72 Hours

Amazon is celebrating a decade of Prime Day in India with special anniversary offers across categories. Shoppers can expect deals on smartphones, laptops, fashion, home appliances, beauty products, toys, and everyday essentials.

Prime members will also be eligible for additional savings through select bank offers. Amazon says SBI and Axis Bank credit card and EMI transactions will qualify for up to 10% instant savings, while Amazon Pay ICICI Bank credit card users will continue to receive 5% cashback.

More Than 500 New Product Launches Planned

One of the biggest highlights of Prime Day 2026 will be product launches. Amazon says Prime members will get access to more than 500 new products from over 100 brands during the event.

The list includes brands such as OnePlus, Samsung, Redmi, iQOO, HP, Lenovo, Asus, Boat, Lego, Adidas, Allen Solly, Puma, Bosch, LG, Atomberg, Borosil, Shark Ninja, and several others.

Amazon also says products from startups, small businesses, women-led brands, artisans, and local sellers will be featured during the sale.

Amazon Introduces AI-Powered Prime Playback

To mark the 10th edition of Prime Day, Amazon is launching an AI-powered feature called Prime Playback.

The tool generates a personalized recap for Prime members, highlighting their shopping history, streaming activity, and savings over the years. According to Amazon, select Prime members can start accessing the feature from June 18 through Amazon.in.

The company is also highlighting AI-powered shopping tools such as Rufus, Lens AI, AI Review Highlights, Quick View, and Buying Guides, which are designed to help customers discover and compare products more easily.

Special Prime Membership Offers Ahead of the Sale

Ahead of Prime Day, Amazon is offering discounted Prime memberships for a limited period.

The standard annual Prime membership, usually priced at ₹1,499, is available for ₹999. Prime Lite has been reduced from ₹799 to ₹599, while the Prime Shopping Edition is available for ₹299 instead of ₹399.

The offer is aimed at bringing more users into the Prime ecosystem before the sale begins.

What Shoppers Can Expect

Based on Amazon's announcement, Prime Day 2026 will focus heavily on electronics, smartphones, home appliances, fashion, and everyday essentials. The company is also promising year-low pricing on select products and a large number of new launches spread across the three-day event.
