Flipkart has dropped an official teaser for its GOAT Sale, and the iPhone 17 is the headline deal. The poster shows the current Rs 82,900 price struck through with a new price of Rs 7X,999.

The middle digit is hidden for now, but here's the thing: Flipkart will reveal the actual price on June 28, so you don't have to wait until the sale to find out.

The masked digit means the sale price lands somewhere between Rs 70,999 and Rs 79,999. Given that the iPhone 17 launched at Rs 82,900 and currently sits at Rs 80,900, a price in the higher end of that range wouldn't make much of a splash. Flipkart has an incentive to go low.

Rs 70,999 or Rs 71,999 is the most likely reveal based on current trends. Stack a bank offer on top, and HDFC, SBI, ICICI, and Axis Bank cards typically get additional instant discounts during Flipkart sales, and the effective price drops further.

Last year's GOAT Sale cut the iPhone 16 from Rs 79,900 to Rs 69,999, with early buyers bringing it down to Rs 59,999 with bank offers. If Flipkart follows the same playbook with the iPhone 17, July 4 could be a genuinely good time to buy.
