Flipkart Republic Day Sale 2026 Starts January 17: First Teaser Drops, Check Expected Deals and Offers
Flipkart has begun teasing its Republic Day Sale, and the first few details are now out. The sale is set to start on January 17, with a 24-hour early-access window for Flipkart Plus and Flipkart Black members.

Flipkart hasn’t shared exact deal prices yet, but the early messaging suggests this will be one of its bigger sale moments to open the year.
Early Access Comes First for Plus and Black Members
As with most large Flipkart sales, early access is once again tied to its membership tiers. Plus and Black members will be able to shop deals a day before the sale opens to everyone else.
Flipkart Black membership is priced at ₹1,499 and is valid for 365 days from activation. It offers 5 percent SuperCoins cashback on orders across Flipkart, Minutes, and Cleartrip (up to 800 SuperCoins per month), extra discounts when using SuperCoins, a one-year YouTube Premium subscription, exclusive Black deals, early access to major sales, 15 percent early-access bank offers, and priority 24x7 customer support.
The plan also includes a ₹1 flight cancellation or rescheduling benefit on Cleartrip, making it a paid upgrade over the free Flipkart Plus loyalty program.
HDFC Bank Offer Is Already Confirmed
One thing Flipkart has locked in early is its bank offer. The company has confirmed a 10 percent instant discount on HDFC Bank credit cards, including EasyEMI transactions.
What Kind of Deals to Expect
Flipkart hasn’t gone into category-wise details yet, but Republic Day sales usually cover a wide spread of products. Smartphones, electronics, TVs, large appliances, fashion, and home essentials are all expected to be part of the sale.
Smartphones Likely to Be the Main Attraction
Smartphones are expected to be one of the biggest focus areas during the Republic Day Sale. iPhones, particularly the iPhone 15 and iPhone 16 series, could see effective price reductions through a mix of bank offers and exchange bonuses.
Mid-range Android phones should also see strong visibility. Brands like Motorola, OPPO, Vivo, iQOO, and Nothing often push volume during sales. Models from the Nothing Phone 3a series and the CMF Phone 2 Pro are expected to feature prominently.

Google’s Pixel lineup could also be part of the sale, with attention likely around the Pixel 10 and 9 series. As usual, Pixel discounts may be more selective, often tied to bank offers rather than direct cuts.
New and Recent Launches Could See Bank Offers
Republic Day sales aren’t just about clearing old stock. Newer launches often make it into the sale with lighter discounts. Phones such as the Realme 16 Pro series are expected to be included, while models like the Reno15 series and the Poco M8 could also appear.

Recently launched devices like the Motorola Edge 70, POCO C85, realme P4x, Nothing Phone 3a Lite, and Moto G57 Power may not see major price drops, but they could benefit from limited-time bank offers or exchange deals.
More Teasers Should Follow Soon
Flipkart generally rolls out sale details in phases, starting with dates and bank offers, then moving on to category highlights and product-specific pricing. If that pattern holds, clearer deal details should start showing up in the days leading up to January 17.
