Google One Diwali Offer: Get 30GB to 2TB of Cloud Storage for Just ₹11 for Three Months
Google is celebrating Diwali in India with a major price cut on its Google One cloud storage plans, giving users access to extra storage across Drive, Gmail, and Photos for just ₹11 per month. The offer applies to the Lite, Basic, Standard, and Premium plans and is valid until October 31.

Heavily Discounted Monthly Plans
For three months, Google One subscribers can pick any plan — from 30GB to 2TB of storage — at a flat rate of ₹11 per month. After that, the subscription reverts to its regular price.
Here’s a quick breakdown:
- Lite Plan: 30GB of cloud storage, usually ₹30/month
- Basic Plan: 100GB, usually ₹130/month
- Standard Plan: 200GB, usually ₹210/month
- Premium Plan: 2TB, usually ₹650/month
Users who choose Basic, Standard, or Premium plans can also share their storage with family members.
This offer provides an easy entry point for anyone who’s running out of space on Gmail or Photos and doesn’t want to commit to higher monthly costs upfront.
Annual Plans Also Discounted
The Diwali discounts aren’t limited to monthly plans. Google is also offering up to 37% off annual subscriptions for users who prefer paying once for the year.
Here’s how the new annual pricing looks:
- Lite Plan: ₹479/year (down from ₹708)
- Basic Plan: ₹1,000/year (down from ₹1,560)
- Standard Plan: ₹1,600/year (down from ₹2,520)
- Premium Plan: ₹4,900/year (down from ₹7,800)
That means potential savings of up to ₹2,900 for Premium users — the biggest discount among the four plans. The annual subscriptions also include family-sharing options for eligible tiers.
No Discounts for Existing Users
When I checked my own Google account, the ₹11 offer didn't show up at all. That makes it pretty clear this promotion is likely aimed at new Google One subscribers, not existing ones. My current plan only displayed standard pricing, with no sign of the Diwali discounts anywhere.
Interestingly, the only offer that did appear for me was on the Google AI Premium plan, which is temporarily priced at ₹975 per month for two months, before returning to ₹1,950 per month. That seems to be the only active discount visible for me.
Why It Matters
For many users, Google One has become a quiet necessity. Gmail inboxes fill up fast, Photos storage has limits, and Drive continues to be a digital dumping ground for most of us. This limited-time Diwali pricing could nudge more users into paid plans — not just for storage, but for the convenience of managing all Google services under one subscription.
