If you’ve been holding off on buying the iPhone 16, this might be one of those moments where the deal finally makes sense. Apple launched the phone in September 2024 at ₹79,900 for the base variant, but the price has been sliding every few months.

Right now, you can grab it for an effective ₹65,900 through one of Apple’s authorised resellers, which is a pretty decent cut without waiting for a festival sale.
How The New Price Breaks Down
The offer comes from Imagine, where the 128 GB iPhone 16 is listed at ₹69,990. On top of that, you get a ₹4,000 instant cashback if you pay using SBI Card, ICICI Bank, or IDFC First Bank. Once that cashback is applied, the price lands at ₹65,900.
If you don’t want to pay the entire amount upfront, the store is also offering a no-cost EMI plan with monthly payments hovering around ₹10,983.
The bigger storage variants haven’t budged much, though. The 256 GB and 512 GB models sit at ₹79,900 and ₹99,900, and there don’t seem to be any additional card discounts for those.
What You’re Getting With The iPhone 16
The iPhone 16 comes with a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display that can get bright enough for outdoor use, and it keeps the Ceramic Shield protection Apple introduced in earlier models. It runs on the A18 chip, which brings a six-core CPU, a five-core GPU, and a neural engine that handles the phone’s newer AI features.
On the camera side, you get a 48 MP main camera paired with a 12 MP ultra-wide lens, along with a 12 MP front camera. Apple has also added a Camera Control button on the right side, letting you zoom or shoot with a quick tap or slide. The phone also holds an IP68 rating for dust and water resistance.
