JioSaavn has announced a new promotional plan that brings down the cost of its Pro subscription to just ₹9 for the first two months. The limited-time deal comes at a moment when many global streaming services are moving in the opposite direction, gradually raising their subscription prices.

What the ₹9 Offer Includes

The company’s Pro tier typically costs ₹89 a month. By paying ₹9 upfront, new subscribers get two months of access to features that are otherwise locked behind the paywall. That includes ad-free streaming, offline downloads, higher-quality audio, and curated playlists. After the two-month period, the plan reverts to the standard pricing.

JioSaavn has also tied the offer to Reliance Jio’s ninth anniversary promotions. Customers who recharge with the ₹349 pack get an additional month of JioSaavn Pro at no extra cost, effectively extending the trial period further.

Positioning in a Competitive Market

India’s music streaming market is crowded with both international and local services. While rivals like Spotify and Apple Music charge significantly higher monthly rates, JioSaavn’s limited-time offer reduces the barrier for users who want to try out premium features.
