Nothing Phone (3) Gets a Big Discount on Flipkart—Here’s How You Could Get It for Under ₹41,000

The Nothing Phone (3) just launched earlier this month, but Flipkart’s already slashing prices—and pretty aggressively, too.

If you’ve got the right bank card and a solid phone to exchange, you can cut the price nearly in half. And yes, I tried it myself.

The Offer Sounds Too Good—But It’s Real

The base deal is pretty straightforward. Flipkart is offering a flat ₹10,000 instant discount if you use an ICICI or IDFC First Bank credit card. On top of that, there’s an exchange bonus of ₹10,000 for your old phone. Combine both, and you’re already looking at ₹20,000 off on the Nothing Phone (3).

But the total savings can go even higher depending on what phone you’re trading in. For instance, when I tried exchanging my Nothing Phone (1)—which is still in good shape—I was offered ₹20,935 off in total. That includes the ₹10,000 bonus plus the base exchange value Flipkart assigns to the device.

Now, add the bank offer, and the final price for the 12GB + 256GB Phone (3), which normally sells for ₹79,999, dropped to ₹49,064. That’s a steep discount, and honestly, one of the highest trade-in values I’ve seen for a mid-range phone.

Bigger Discount for Higher-End Devices

What really caught me off guard, though, was when I checked the exchange deal for my Pixel 8. I selected the “best condition” option, made sure I still had the box, and Flipkart offered me ₹29,050 in total exchange value. That’s before the bank discount.

Throw in the ₹10,000 ICICI offer, and the final price came down to just ₹40,949. That’s almost half off the sticker price. And no, this isn’t a referral deal or something sketchy. It’s a live offer that anyone can access on Flipkart right now.

Important Details to Know Before You Try

Exchange values obviously vary based on the condition of your phone, and Flipkart will ask you questions about whether the device is flawless, has scratches, or shows wear and tear. You’ll get the most money if you select “Flawless” and still have the original box. And yes, they do verify it at pickup.

Also, keep in mind that iPhones generally get the best exchange rates. So if you’re switching from an older iPhone to the Nothing Phone (3), your discount could go even higher.

The two variants currently available are:

• 12GB RAM + 256GB storage – ₹79,999
• 16GB RAM + 512GB storage – ₹89,999

Should You Go for It?

Personally, the value finally makes sense to me, especially with all the flak the Phone (3) has been getting over its pricing and design. But when you're getting it for nearly half the launch price, a lot of that criticism starts to feel less relevant. At this price, I can actually see the phone making a solid case for itself.
