Nothing Phone 3 Gets Massive Discount in Flipkart’s Republic Day Sale 2026: How to Get It at the Lowest Price

Flipkart’s Republic Day sale is live, and in my earlier roundup of the best phone deals, I’d mentioned that the Nothing Phone 3 was one phone worth keeping an eye on. As expected, the deal has finally landed.

This is a phone that starts at ₹79,999, a price that raised more than a few eyebrows when it launched last year. During the sale, Flipkart is now showing the Phone 3 at an effective starting price of ₹39,999, which immediately makes it far more interesting. Naturally, I decided to check the deal myself to see how the pricing actually works.

How the ₹39,999 Price Is Reached

The ₹39,999 price comes from a stack of discounts. Flipkart is offering a ₹35,000 price cut on the Nothing Phone 3, along with an additional ₹10,000 bank offer on HDFC cards. Once both are applied at checkout, the price drops to ₹39,999.

You will actually see a slightly higher amount at the final step due to Flipkart’s convenience fees.

I Tried to Get the Lowest Price Possible

To see how low the price could go, I also factored in an exchange. I tried exchanging my Nothing Phone 1, which was valued at ₹7,920. With the exchange added on top of the existing discounts, the final payable amount dropped further, landing at ₹32,730 on the checkout screen.

That said, your final price will depend on whether you exchange a phone and how much value Flipkart assigns to it.

Why This Deal Changes the Phone’s Positioning

At ₹79,999, the Nothing Phone 3 always felt like a tough recommendation (check out our review). At ₹39,999, the conversation shifts completely. It’s no longer about whether the phone justifies a near-₹80,000 price tag. Instead, it starts competing in a much more realistic segment, where its design, software experience, and hardware feel easier to justify.

If you were interested in the phone earlier but couldn’t justify the launch price, this sale finally brings it into a range where it makes sense to consider. Just remember that exchange values vary, and the final price will depend on whether you trade in a phone or not.

What You’re Getting for the Money

The Nothing Phone 3 features a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120Hz. It’s also the brightest display Nothing has used so far, with peak HDR brightness rated at up to 4,500 nits and 1,600 nits in high brightness mode.

On the back, there’s the Glyph Matrix, which aims to surface useful information without constantly pulling your attention back to the screen. How useful it feels will depend on how much you buy into Nothing’s design philosophy.

Performance is handled by the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset, paired with a 5,500mAh silicon-carbon battery. Charging includes 65W fast wired charging and 15W wireless charging, which should be enough for most daily routines.

Camera-wise, the Phone 3 packs a triple 50MP setup on the rear, including a main camera, a periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and an ultra-wide camera. There’s also a 50MP camera on the front.
