Origin OS 7 Update: List of Vivo and iQOO Phones Getting Android 17-Based Update

Vivo has almost wrapped up its Android 16 rollout with OriginOS 6, and it’s already moving ahead. Android 17 is now in testing, with early beta builds going live through the company’s Developer Preview program.

That naturally raises the question: will your Vivo or iQOO phone get the update?

There’s no official list yet. But based on how Vivo usually handles updates, along with its current policy, we now have a fairly solid idea of which devices are likely to be included.

Android 17 Testing Has Already Started

Vivo isn’t waiting around this time. The Android 17 Developer Preview is already available for the Vivo X300 Pro and the iQOO 15.

That’s still a small group, and there’s no confirmation if more devices will join the beta anytime soon. But it does give a starting point for what the company is prioritizing.

On the Android side, things are also moving along. Google has already pushed out three beta builds, and the platform has reached stability. The stable rollout is currently expected around June 2026.
