24-Inch BenQ XL2420TX Gaming Monitor Launched at Rs 31,000
BenQ launched its flagship gaming monitor, XL2420TX, for competitive and professional FPS games. Succeeding the XL2420T gaming monitor launched back in March, the XL2420TX has a 24 inch (61 cm) full HD panel. The new monitor, which has a refresh rate 120 Hz has been developed with Zowie Gear as the co-developer.
BenQ claimed that XL2420TX comes with a plethora of features such as FPS Mode, Black eQualizer, Smart Scaling and Display Mode. Black eQualizer functions by enhancing the dark shades in games while FPS Mode changes color tint, sharpness and brightness for FPS games.
The monitor also enables viewing 3D content as it is equipped with a 3D IR emitter which is in-built. Hence it supports NVIDIA 3D Vision 2 glasses. It is also compliant to the new HDMI 1.4a spec.
Refresh rate is very important for gamers, with 120 Hz of the XL2420TX helping in smoothly rendering graphics. Moreover, this refresh rate is required for the monitor display to become compatible with the NVIDIA 3D Vision 2.
There is an S switch in the monitor. This is the remote controller consisting of three preset buttons. The S switch is very useful for customizing and saving different display settings, be it for work, gaming or movies.
The Display Mode and Smart Scaling are other interesting features dealing with the display. They allow the user to change the size of the monitor screen from 17 inch (43.1 cm) to 24 inch (61 cm) and to scale the screen size to any custom size manually. The BenQ XL2420TX gaming monitor sells at Rs. 31,000.
