Xiaomi Brings its Own Website to Sell Popular Accessories in India

Early on, there were rumours in the past that Xiaomi would start selling accessories through its own site in India. At least for now, it seems that Xiaomi has started selling official accessories via its own site. The accessories have been previously available only through India's e-commerce giant - Flipkart.

The Mi India site is currently selling accessories such as Mi In-Ear headphone at an asking price of Rs. 799; Redmi Soft Gel Protective Case at Rs. 369; Mi In-Ear headphones Basic at Rs. 500; and Redmi Note Flip Case at Rs. 559. In order to buy these fancy accessories, all you need to sign up via their Mi account in order to place an order.

Apart from selling its popular in-ear headphones, users can also check out the company's bestselling Mi Power Bank of 5200mAh and 10,400mAh capacities. Earlier, both these portable chargers were available only through Flipkart.

Looks like Xiaomi, which has gained massive popularity in the past 12 months, is planning to reduce its dependency on Flipkart. The Chinese tech giant has been selling its smartphones and other accessories in India through an exclusive partnership with India-based online retailer.

So far, Xiaomi isn't selling its handsets through the official site just yet. The firm will soon start selling the Redmi 2, as well as the Mi Pad tablet, on Flipkart, starting March 24.
