Apple’s Updated EarPods Rumored To Track Heart Rate and Blood Pressure
With WWDC 2014, Apple's annual developer conference, around the corner, there are already number of intriguing rumors out.
A new report indicate that Apple will finally jumps into wearable tech market with a new set of EarPods that read a user's blood pressure and heart rate. This secret info was revealed via a posting on the anonymous app Secret.
According to anonymous secret app, Apple is working on smarter and health-oriented EarPod headphones. The updated Apple EarPods will appear alongside the iOS 8 announcement, which is expected at Apple's WWDC conference from June 2.
The user of the anonymous secret app, who claims to be an ex-Apple employee, said the next-gen Apple EarPod will have sensor embedded that will help to measure heart rate and blood pressure.
The author of the post also revealed that the headphone would also use Apple's "iBeacon" system to help locate them if lost. The headphones, claims the source, will need to be hooked up to a Lightning port.
In the comments section, the author post of the post, further added that the headphones will come with a better noise cancellation mechanism and a revamped remote.
There have been end numbers of rumors about the mysterious "iWatch". Many claimed the device will arrive later in the year, and might come at a price of $250 (about Rs. 15,250). The anonymous user has apparently suggested that the Apple is indeed working on an "iWatch", but the name isn't finalized yet.
Since Apple will kick off this year's WWDC from June 2, one should expect a new hardware related to fitness/ health.
