Asus Smartwatch To Come with Voice and Gesture Control Features

Last time we heard of the wearable device coming from the Taiwanese tablet/PC maker Asus was back in February first week. The device was then also reported to be unveiled at the Computex trade fair in June 2014. But there is no solid confirmation about the date and nor the specs of the device has been out.

However, there are now a number of wearable devices coming from all possible manufacturers and thus the rumored Asus smartwatch might not find it easy to prevail over the wearable market. But to make its device more competent, Asus is investigating a "more natural user interface" for what would be the company's first wearable device.

To be more precise, the company is rumored to include a voice control in the upcoming smartwatch. The feature will definitely be a pretty impressive one. Voice and gesture control is not new, nor is "movement" control, but surely it looks like Asus is all gripped on this feature, which possibly will become the smartwatch's USP.

However, the Asus CEO Jonney Shih also has plans to offer a device in attractive prices. If there is a way to make a move in this segment, that is certainly one way worth trying. To shed light on other similar devices, Samsung, Sony, LG and others have already hit the market. Thus the upcoming smartwatch might just have to face all these devices.
