The audio experience of iPad can be now enhanced with Belkin Thunderstorm home theatre. The company has launched the device to give the iPad users a better audio experience. The Belkin Thunderstorm home theatre is a thick and bulky cover which has great speaker systems, a stand and a battery.
The company has come up with two models one for the fourth generation iPad enabled with lighting connectors and the other for the old 30-pin connector. The 30-pin connector version is for iPad2 or iPad. The speaker of the home theatre beckons attention. It adds a little bass when played in a loud environment and this is something that is needed for users expecting a better movie watching experience on the iPad.
The dock system adds two speakers in the front and the home theatre, Thunderstorm does this by confining the iPad in a hard core plastic box. The speakers are pretty good and have an app to control the audio settings. The stand is flexible enough to enable users to fold it like a Smart cover in different heights and tilts.
The home theatre comes at a price of $200 (Rs.10900/- approx). The price of the home theatre may not be cheap but considering the advantages of a better audio performance and battery life, it could be worth the money spent. The product will be available in the Amazon and Belkin website very soon and in the Apple store from February. Expectations are high on the experience this superior quality audio will deliver.
