Canon Launches 4 New Cameras Under DSLR, PowerShot Series: EOS 100D, 700D, SX 280 HS, 270 HS

Canon, the name you can reckon with, has come up with new camera range recently. Two of them are DSLRs - Canon EOS 100D/ Rebel S1 and Canon EOS 700D/ Rebel T5i. These high-end cameras are aimed to target armature photographers and professionals.

While the other two cameras are point and shoot cameras, dubbed as the Canon PowerShot SX 280 HS and PowerShot SX270 HS. They will come packed with FULL HD video recording. All the recently unveiled camera models have been announced for the US /UK markets as of now, wherease the camera manufacturing giant has revealed no information, as of when the new range will reach Indian boundaries.

Canon EOS 100D - Specifications and features

Claimed by the company, the Canon EOS 100D is the smallest and lightest APS-C DSLR in its class. The high-end DSLR comes with a 18-mega pixels APS-C Hybrid CMOS AF II Sensor, which combines with the power of the DIGIC 5 image processor to deliver stunning results in virtually any situation.

Further, the camera is capable of shooting at speeds of up to 4fps; one can say that it is the best camera for beginners. Weighing just 407grams, the camera features a 3.0-inch capacitive display among others features.

Canon EOS 700D - Specifications and features

The Canon EOS 700D comes with an 18-mega pixel APS-C Hybrid CMOS sensor and DIGIC 5 image processor. With a native 100-12,800 ISO range, the EOS 700D is capable of catching remarkable levels of detail even when shooting in tricky low light conditions.

The camera comes equipped with a 3.0-inch clear view LCD display among other features.

Canon PowerShot SX 280 HS - Specifications and features

The Canon PowerShot SX 280 HS features next-gen DIGIC 6 imaging processor. With the new PowerShot camera you can record Full HD videos at 60fps. Designed for travelers, the camera has A-GPS functionality as well as Wi-Fi connectivity.
