Epson Expression ME-101 AiO, ME-301: World's Smallest Printers Launched in India

Epson Philippines Corporation (EPC) has launched the next generation affordable entry-level inkjet printers in India recently. Claimed to be world's smallest models that are designed to save users running costs with their affordable supplies, the new printers are range include Epson Expression ME-101 All-in-One (AiO) and Epson Expression ME-301 AiO that has Wi-Fi and uses Epson DURABrite Ultra ink.

The Epson Expression ME-101 and Epson Expression ME-301 priced at Rs 3999 and Rs 7699 respectively are designed to save consumers desk space, after being built as 15% smaller than their predecessors and are respectively, the smallest single function and AIO desktop printers in the world, states the company press release.

Further, the printers use Micro Piezo print head technology and have a resolution of 5760X1440 along with a print speed of 24 pages per minute. The printers are also featured with small environmental footprints; this allows users to save costs by replacing only the repairable ones.

Like their predecessors, the new printers also have a small environmental footprint by their use of individual ink cartridges that allow users to maximize cost savings by changing only the ones that have depleted.

The Epson Expression ME-101 uses a new set of highly affordable dyebased cartridges that produce excellent glossy photos on Epson Glossy Photo Paper. The cartridge price is Rs 191 for black and white and Rs 345 for color cartridges.

For users who demand high quality prints and images, the DuraBrite Ultra Pigment inks used by the printers can produce waterproof and smudge free prints.
