London tech giant Nothing is set to unveil its first smartphone under the CMF brand, the CMF Phone 1, today, on July 8. Alongside the smartphone, the launch will also feature the CMF Buds Pro 2 and the Watch Pro 2.
Leading up to the launch, Nothing has shared key specifications of these upcoming devices. Here's a rundown of what we know about the new CMF by Nothing products so far.

Launch Event Details
The CMF Phone 1, along with the CMF Buds Pro 2 and Watch Pro 2, will be officially launched on Monday, July 8. The event will be streamed live at 2:30 PM IST across Nothing's YouTube channel and social media platforms as a part of the company's community update.
CMF Phone 1
Design and Customization
The CMF Phone 1 will introduce a fresh take on smartphone design, with a focus on customization. The device will feature interchangeable rear panels in Black, Orange, Light Green, and Blue. The Black and Light Green options will offer a subtle texture, while the Blue and Orange variants will come with a vegan leather finish.
Users will be able to swap these panels to match their style or use various accessories like a carrying strap or kickstand, which will attach via a rotatable dial on the phone's bottom left corner.
Display
The CMF Phone 1 will be equipped with a 6.67-inch Super AMOLED display that supports a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, and reaches a peak brightness of 2000 nits. These features aim to provide a vibrant viewing experience with smooth performance.
Performance
The device will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, built on TSMC's 4nm Gen 2 process. This processor will be paired with 8GB of RAM, expandable up to 16GB via the CMF RAM Booster technology, and will offer up to 128GB of internal storage, expandable to 2TB through a microSD card.
Camera
The CMF Phone 1 will include a dual-camera setup on the rear. The primary camera will feature a 50-megapixel Sony sensor with an f/1.8 aperture, capable of capturing high-quality images with enhanced detail and color accuracy. The secondary rear camera is expected to be a depth sensor. For selfies, the front camera will sport a 16-megapixel sensor.
Battery and Additional Features
The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery, which the company claims can provide up to two days of usage or 22 hours of continuous YouTube streaming. It will support 33W fast charging and include features like an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP52 rating for dust and water resistance, mono speaker setup, and a USB Type-C port. The CMF Phone 1 will run on Android 14 and include ChatGPT integration for enhanced AI capabilities.
Pricing and Availability
Although official pricing will be confirmed during the launch, leaked information suggests the CMF Phone 1 could be priced between Rs 14,999 and Rs 17,999. Sales are expected to begin on Flipkart from July 12 at 12 PM, with potential discounts for early buyers.

The CMF Buds Pro 2 will feature Hybrid Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) technology, capable of reducing ambient noise by up to 50 dB. These wireless earbuds are designed with dual audio drivers to deliver a refined audio experience for music, calls, and media consumption.
Smart Dial for Customization
The charging case of the CMF Buds Pro 2 will include a Smart Dial, providing users with intuitive control over their audio settings. This feature will allow for easy adjustments directly from the case, enhancing the user experience.
