South Korean giant, Samsung has announced the Samsung Gear 360, a 360-degree virtual camera at its Unpacked Event 2016 in Barcelona, Spain. This camera can be used to create video and image still content in high resolution, during traveling and other activities.
This device comes with dual lens, which is capable of taking high-resolution videos and 30MP still images. The company also offers tripod along with Gear 360 and it is also compatible with a wider selection of accessories available on the market.
Moving on to the specifications, the Gear 360 comes with DRIMe5s image processor and 0.5-inch PMOLED display. This device holds up to 128GB via microSD card, which can shoot up to 7 hours of video at the highest possible resolution.
The Gear 360 comes in four modes which include still images, time-lapse, video and loop. With looping feature, one can use it almost like security or monitoring device. Further, the camera comes with tthe IP53 rating, allowing the users to take pictures during rainy season.
When the user pairs it with the Samsung smartphones, they can preview content in real-time when recording. The camera also supports Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac (2.4/5GHz), Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth version 4.1, USB 2.0, and NFC.
The above hardware is powered by a 1,350 mAH lithium-ion battery, allowing the users to take video up to 2 hours. Samsung Gear 360 will be available starting Q2 2016 in select countries. Now, lets have a look at the top 5 features you should know!

The Gear 360 is equipped with dual fisheye lenses, both having an 15MP image sensors, giving the users to capture high-resolution (3840x1920) 360-degree video that also supports 30MP still images.

Also, users can shoot 180-degree wide angle video and images using one side of the camera lens. During the low light conditions, this Gear 360 offers Bright Lens F2.0, which gives high-resolution images while shooting and also can full panoramic videos.
