Here are some offbeat Xiaomi gadgets for the Mi fans.
Xiaomi, the Chinese company was founded in 2010. The high-end smartphones at reasonable price points took Xiaomi into the spotlight.
Initially, the maker launched Mi1 in 2011 running Android-based MIUI. Since its launch, the fortunes of the company have only headed north. With the increasing popularity, Xiaomi became the fifth smartphone maker on a global scale.
In the meantime, Xiaomi didn't stick onto only smartphones and accessories. In 2013, the company released a number of offbeat gadgets including devices for home, entertainment, personal health, and transportation.

Despite the fact that Xiaomi is pretty successful in the Indian market, the company hasn't launched many of these gadgets in the country. Notably, there is a high demand for the Xiaomi gadgets and only a few are available for the Indian Mi fans.

Xiaomi Mi VR Play Headset
On Monday, Xiaomi launched the Mi Vr Play headset in India at a price of Rs. 999. The headset will be made available starting from December 21 on the official Mi website. The company will launch a limited edition model with different designs such as leopard prints, denim, and Van Gogh. This VR headset is packed with a zipper to protect damage and it is lightweight too.
Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2
The Xiaomi Mi Air Purifier 2 was launched in India at a price of Rs. 9,999. It features triple layer filter, which is fitted in a cylindrical shape to enable 360-degree filtering. The Mi Air Purifier 2 is controlled by the Mi Home app that is available for Android and iOS. Besides the remote access to the Wi-Fi connected device, the app also enables sharing the control with others.

Xiaomi Mi Electric Scooter
Earlier this week, Xiaomi announced the Mi electric scooter in China. The electric scooter with a folding design weighs just 12.5 kg and can be folded in just 3 seconds by simply pressig on a button. The maximum speed of the Xiaomi electric scooter is 25 km/h. There is an energy recovery system in the scooter that will turn the kinetic energy into electricity to offer a better battery life to the electric scooter. The Mi electric scooter is priced at 1999 yuan (approx. Rs. 19,500).
Xiaomi Yeelight Smart LED Ceiling Light
The Yeelight LED Ceiling Light announced in the Mi Smart Home ecosystem assures fast installation in just 5 minutes. It has IP60 rating that makes dust resistant. The smart light can change its color using the Android or iOS app. The Xiaomi Yeelight LED Ceiling Light carries a price tag of 349 yuan (approx. Rs. 3,400).

Xiaomi Mi Portable Bluetooth Mouse
Xiaomi Mi Portable Mouse is the latest Bluetooth mouse launched in China. It features aluminum shell and ABS plastic. The highlight is that this mouse includes a dongle and features dual-mode connection that will let users connect it to two laptops or PCs at the same time. This is possible as one can be connected via Bluetooth and the other can be connected via the dongle. This Xiaomi Mi Portable Bluetooth Mouse is priced at 89 yuan (approx. Rs. 870).
Xiaomi Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset
Lately, Xiaomi launched the Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset, which is ideal while you are indulged in physical activities such as running, cycling, etc. This headset is priced at 149 yuan (approx. Rs. 1,500). The Mi Sports Bluetooth Headset comes with Bluetooth 4.1 and can be connected with two devices at the same time. Xiaomi Mi Music Alarm Clock
Xiaomi introduced the Mi Music Alarm Clock in October at a price point of 199 yuan (approx. Rs. 1,970). The device has LED lights that are embedded behind the speaker grill to show the time and doubles as a Bluetooth speaker letting you play music. There is also a 2,600mAh battery in the alarm clock that can be charged with the help of micro USB.
Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum
The Xiaomi Mi Robot Vacuum comes with LDS (Laser Distance Sensor) that can scan the surroundings 360 degrees 1800 times in a second. It has 12 sensors and several advanced features. The Mi Home app can be used to turn on and control the Mi Robot Vacuum remotely. This gadget is available in China for 1699 yuan (approx. Rs. 16,600).
Xiaomi Mi Drone
When drones have gradually come into existence, Xiaomi announced the Mi Drone. This drone is available in two models - one with FHD 1080p recording and the other with Full 4K recording. There is auto-pilot feature and easy flight controls. The in-built GPS feature will prevent the drone from losing its path and there is Optical Image Stabilization as well. The Mi Drone features a 5,10mAh battery and is priced at 2499 yuan (approx. Rs. 24,500) and 2999 yuan (approx. Rs. 29,500) for the two models.

Xiaomi Li Ning Smart Running Shoes
Xiaomi's Li Ning range of running shoes are fitted with smart sensors and the lineup is meant for the joggers and races out there. These shoes are designed to record motion, speed and steps. These waterproof shoes from Xiaomi have a Bluetooth chip, which delivers statistical measurement data and recommendations to improve the running and these will be sent to the users' smartphones. The price range is between Rs. 2,000 and Rs. 4,000.
