Fitbit Surge: Fitness-Focused Smartwatch Tipped To Launch Soon
Fitbit is preparing to release a smartwatch called the Surge that it's promoting as a hybrid device for athletes. Several weeks ago, a rumor suggested that the company would launch a new intelligent watch sometime in October. Now, the much hyped device has been leaked online ahead of its anticipated launch.
The Surge, which is yet to go official, today appeared on the Brookstone's website. It's the same site which had accidently listed the device earlier last week. Dubbed as "Fitness Superwatch," the watch will come with a hearty rate sensor as well as integrated GPS.

The device is expected to offer smart notifications, allowing users to view call and text notifications from their wrist. Like other smartwatches available on to market today, the Fitbit Surge is also let your control music control.
When it comes to the product's design, it appears to show a black-and-white display controlled by physical buttons. It might come with a touch screen display or third-part app support.
Well the watch is designed for fitness junkies, meaning it could be sweat proof. Although there is no mention of battery life, if reports have anything to go by, the watch might have a respectable battery life. Furthermore, the watch would be compatible with Android and iOS.
Fitbit, the world's top fitness band manufacturer, remains silent about the arrival of the Surge. The company may soon unveil the Surge smartwatch, it seems. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
