Samsung Galaxy S4
Samsung has released Galaxy S4 in India at Rs 41,500. Galaxy S4 comes with a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a stunning resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 441 ppi, Octa 5410 processor packing two quad core chips, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB internal storage, a micro SD card slot supporting up to 64GB expandable storage, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infrared port and a 2,600 mAh battery.
Fly F45s
Fly F45 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean and comes with a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen display with 960 × 540 pixel resolution, 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, 12MP rear camera with auto focus and LED Flash, 3MP front-facing camera,1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory, expandable memory up to 32GB, connectivity features including 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and GPS and a 2050 mAh battery at Rs 11,500.
Spice Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535
The company has forayed into the phablet market with the launch of Stellar Pinnacle a couple of months back. Now, Spice has launched the sequel to the phablet with Stellar Pinnacle Pro Mi-535 at Rs 14,990.
Stellar Pinnacle Pro houses a 5.3 inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pxiels, 1.2GHz quad core processor, 1GB RAM, 16GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front camera, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS and a 2,550 mAh battery.
Byond Phablet PI
Byond Tech, a Pune based tech firm popular for its tablet launches in the Mi-Book series has now launched a phablet - Phablet PI at Rs 10,999.
Phablet PI comes with a 5.3 inch qHD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1GHz dual core processor, dual SIM support, Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP rear camera with LED flash, 1.3MP front camera, 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card supporting up to 32GB additional storage and a 2,000 mAh battery.
Zen Ultraphone 701 HD
Ultrafone 701 HD features a 5 inch HD IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels, 1.2GHz quad core MediaTek MT6589 processor, 4GB internal storage, 1GB RAM, micro SD card slot, Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS, 8MP rear camera with LED flash and BSI sensor, 3.2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth, GPS with A-GPS and a 2,000 mAh battery and is priced at Rs 11,999.
Gionee GPad G2
GPad G2 is a dual SIM device sporting a 5.3 inch qHD with a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, 1.2GHz quad-core Cortex A7 processor, PowerVR Series5XT GPU, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal memory that can be expanded to up to 32GB using a microSD card, 8MP rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, 2MP front camera, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 3G and a 3,000mAH battery. Further, Gionee GPad G2 runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean.
GPad G2 is estimated to be priced at Rs 15,000 approximately and to hit the stores by the first week of May.
Nokia Asha 210
Nokia has come up with a dual SIM handset called Asha 210 with a dedicated WhatsApp button. Asha 210 features a 2.4 inch TFT display with a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels and a pixel density of 167 ppi approximately, 2MP rear camera, 64GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, micro USB 2.0 and a 1,200 mAh battery offering up to 1104 hours standby and 12 hours talk time.
Also, Asha 210 comes with the Nokia Slam features for sharing images and videos through Bluetooth without paring and is preloaded with YouTube launches for direct video streaming and comes with chat screen notifications to keep users updated.
Asus FonePad
Asus has released the 3G voice calling tablet FonePad in India at Rs 15,999. FonePad runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean OS and features a 7 inch IPS capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels, 1.2GHz Intel Atom Z2420 processor, PowerVR GC540 GPU, 3MP rear camera, 1.2MP front camera, 1GB RAM, 8GB/16GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage, 3G for voice calling, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and a 4,270 mAh battery claimed to offer up to 9 hours backup.
Celkon CT 888
Celkon CT888 boasts a 7 inch 5 point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1.2GHz processor, Android 4.0.4 ICS operating system, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera for video calling, 3G SIM card slot, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, 512MB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage and a 3,500 mAh battery. The voice calling tablet is priced at Rs 7,999.
Salora Fontab
Salora has come up with another tablet - this time a 2G voice calling offering at Rs 6,899. Salora Fontab houses a 7 inch 5 point multi-touch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels, 1.5GHz Cortex A9 processor, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system, 2MP rear camera, 0.3MP front camera for video calling, 2G SIM card slot, 3G via SB dongle, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI port, 1GB RAM, 4GB internal storage, micro SD card slot supporting up to 32GB additional storage and a 3,500 mAh Li-Po battery.
