HP Unveils Range of Tablets, Notebooks and Mini Desktops

Hewlett-Packard has launched its Slate 6 VoiceTab II voice calling tablet running on Android and HP Stream 8 Windows 8.1 tablet with 3G support. As the, Slate 6 VoiceTab first-gen might have failed to live up to great expectations, but the newer version promises to offer better overall package. HP also launched HP Stream 11, Windows 8.1 notebook and HP Pavilion Mini Desktop.

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II - Key Specifications

HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II sports a 6-inch touch screen IPS display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. It is clocked at 1.2 GHz quad-core Marvell PXA1088 processor alongside 1GB of RAM. This slate carries a dimension of 8.98mm thickness and weighs around 160 grams.

Slate 6 has 16GB of built-in storage, which can be further expanded to 32GB via microSD card. On the imaging factor it features 8MP rear camera with LED flash and 2MP front facing snapper.

Moving on to the connectivity, it supports dual SIM, 3G, WiFi, Bluetooth 3.0 + EDR, GPS, 3.5mm audio jack and powered by a 3000mAh battery.

HP Stream 8 - Key Specifications

HP Stream 8 features 8-inch anti-glare multi-touch IPS display with 1280 x 800 pixels. This device is clocked by 1.8GHz quad-core Intel Atom Z3735G processor with Intel HD Graphics, alongside 1GB DDR3 RAM. This Stream 8 comes with 32GB of internal storage with an expansion slot and runs on Windows 8.1 OS.

Moreover, it sports a 5MP auto focus rear camera, 2MP front snapper and carries a dimension of 8.9mm thickness and weighs around 410 grams.
On connectivity, it comes with 3G (via SIM card slot), WiFi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0 and powered by a 3000mAh battery.

Moving on to the availability and pricing, HP Slate 6 VoiceTab II is priced at Rs. 15,990, HP Stream 8 Tablet carries a price tag of Rs. 16,990, HP Stream 11.6"diagonal at Rs. 19,990 and HP Pavilion Mini Desktop with Intel Pentium 3558U processor, 4 GB of RAM and a 500 GB Hard Disk Drive (HDD) is priced at Rs. 26,990.
