Jabra has launched its latest flagship speakerphone product, the Jabra Speak 510 in India at a price of Rs 11,000. According to the company press release, Jabra Speak 510 is the perfect audio companion; anytime anywhere, whether on the move, at home, listening to music or attending conference calls.

Using plug-and-play connectivity, Jabra's SPEAK 510 makes sure that the user is just seconds away from virtual meetings and hands-free conversations. Simply connect it via Bluetooth to a PC, tablet or smartphone and you are ready to dial in.

The Jabra SPEAK 510 is designed for professionals with an everyday need for audio conferencing or hands-free calls. It functions as a lightweight audio device with its compact design, convenient travel case and 15 hours of battery life to keep conversations alive.

The crystal-clear omni-directional microphone means all attendees using the speakerphone can hear and speak clearly - making it ideal for one-to-one conversations and smaller group conference calls.

However, in order to fully take advantage of the potential of a mobile workforce, new, integrated communication tools are required. A global survey by Jabra and Frost & Sullivan indicates an alarming discrepancy between the benefits companies expect from a more mobile workforce and how these employees are actually supported. 1 in 5 employees say they do not have the tools and devices to be able to work the way they want.

Ralph Ede, Managing Director - South Asia, Jabra said, "Jabra SPEAK 510 speakerphone Jabra targets the mobile worker to a further extent than ever before. Featuring Bluetooth technology the Jabra SPEAK 510 enables even more user flexibility and meets increased demands for mobility, at home, in the workplace or on the go. It optimises the productivity by intuitively enabling one-to-one and smaller group conference calls at any time and in any place."

"Companies in emerging markets, notably India, are facing increasingly mobile workforces, with between 70 to 80 percent of workers spending at least some portion of their time working out of the office. These companies are also investing in mobile devices that will enable the growing numbers of mobile workers to interact with customers, employees, and other businesses in real time, anytime and from any location. India has vast numbers of SMBs willing to spend to better leverage the capabilities of new devices and solutions," he added.
