Lenovo Yoga 2 Pro Launched At IFA 2013 : A Worthy Sequel To Its Original Yoga Hybrid
As with every IFA show, we saw saw a flood of laptops, tablets and hybrids this year at Berlin. Among them, Lenovo went all-out, making several impressive launches. The company's Yoga 2 Pro hybrid laptop/tablet happens to be the most important amongst these launches, since its the successor to the wonderful original Yoga - the most successful hybrid ever.
For the uninitiated, the Yoga 2, like its predecessor the Yoga, allow you to reverse the keyboard to turn the device into a tablet, allowing it to give users the best of both worlds.
The big question, how do you improve on the perfection of the original Yoga? Simple. You give it a screen that's as good as the MacBook Retina and the Chromebook Pixel. And that's exactly what Lenovo went ahead to do, giving the device a brilliant13.3-inch display that has a resolution of 3,200x1,800 pixels.
Apart from this, the device delivers 9 hours of battery life, thanks to the new and efficient fourth-gen Intel Core processors. What's even better is that Lenovo has managed to make the Yoga 2 Pro thinner and lighter (by about 250 grams).
The Yoga 2 Pro will hit store shelves in October 2013.
