It's been just a few months since Motorola launched its Moto 360 smartwatch. But rumors are already pouring in about the next-generation Moto 360. The successor to the Moto 360 is rumored to make its debut in 2015, a new report says.

What's more, Motorola usually stays mum when it comes to its upcoming lineup. Now, according to a new report, Lenovo Eastern Europe Vice President Gleb Mishin reportedly hinted that a Moto 360 successor will arrive in early 2015.

Mishin also revealed that the next Moto 360 would be "more beautiful and more like a clock," Of course, he didn't say anything substantial related to the Moto 360 2.

Motorola's new devices, such as the Moto G (2014), Moto E (2014), the Motorola-made Nexus 6, and the first-gen Moto 360 are said to arrive in Russia early next year, and Mishin said that at that time the second-generation of the Moto 360 could in the coming months to come.

There have been rumors for a couple months that Motorola has been secretly working on new version of the Moto 360. It was initially reported that the second-generation Moto 360 would come with full circular display, just like the LG G Watch R.

Meanwhile, Motorola recently announced Android Wear 4.4W.2 to the Moto 360. The firmware update brings support for offline music playback, GPS support (for compatible devices), and bug fixes.

Motorola Moto 360 may be dominating smartwatch sales in the US, but the intelligent watch continues to remain out-of-stock in India. The device made its much-hyped debut in September, followed by the retail availability in October.

Initially, Motorola did say that the Moto 360 will initially be in limited stock on Flipkart, and more stock will be added in two weeks. Given the limited initial supply of the device combined, it seems that the response has not been too encouraging and it's been treated as a mere accessory.

For the reminder, the Moto 360 retail for Rs. 17,999 in the country and is the most expensive Android Wear device available onto market right now. The watch has a 1.56-inch circular 320x290p display, and is powered by TI OMAP 3 processor. Other specs include a healthy 512MB of RAM, 4GB of storage, 320 mAh battery, two microphones, heart-rate sensor, pedometer and Bluetooth 4.0.
