Apple's new Apple TV has a much talked about universal search feature which integrates the company's voice assistant Siri. The feature lets Apple TV users instantly search across multiple video platforms simultaneously. The company has now announced that the feature would soon also be available for Apple Music on the latest Apple TV.

With this feature on board, Apple TV owners will let users ask the device to look for a song or album just the same way they look for a movie. According to Buzzfeed, Apple confirmed it that the Music app on Apple TV would get Siri universal search support early next year.

The Siri-based universal search feature for Apple TV has been much appreciated by users, for it makes it easy for users to search for TV Shows and other artists across platforms, apps and other services on Apple TV.

The new Apple TV is supported with a Siri Remote. This remote features the gyroscope and accelerometer for motion controls, and a touchpad as well. Apart from voice-based search, it will support navigation via two microphones for Siri.

In terms of specs, the Apple TV set-top box has a full-HD resolution display, is powered by an A8 SoC and features Wi-Fi and USB Type-C port connectivity.
