The ScreenBar Halo 2 features a dual-light system with a triple-curvature backlight design, offering 423% more coverage than its predecessor. Innovative Lighting Technology

Unlike traditional desk lamps that often cause glare and uneven lighting, the ScreenBar Halo 2 uses BenQ's ASYM-Light optical technology. This technology employs an 18° asymmetrical cut-off angle to direct light onto the desk rather than the screen. This approach eliminates glare and prevents direct light from reaching the eyes.

A study conducted with National Taiwan University of Science and Technology informed its development. The study showed that balanced ambient light around a screen significantly enhances eye comfort. The design philosophy of the ScreenBar Halo 2 adheres to ANSI standards, maintaining an optimal luminance ratio of no more than 3:1 between the screen and its surroundings.
