Smartphone company, Doogee has announced their newest smartphone dubbed as the T6. The major highlight of this smartphone is that is powered by a massive battery of 6250mAh capacity.
Battery in a smartphone is one of the major concerns for most buyers these days and smartphone players are trying to attract consumers by adding bigger batteries in their phones. Recently, Lenovo launched two new battery-centric smartphones called the P1 and P1m in India. Gionee also offers Marathon series of smartphones which come with massive batteries.
Speaking of the Doogee T6 smartphone, it features a battery that, as per company claims, can run for 101 hours. The phone uses MediaTek's PumpExpress technology for fast charging the battery. Moreover, it can double up as a reverse charger or power band to charger other devices. However, despite housing such a big battery, the phone measures in at just 9.9mm in thickness.
As for other specifications, the phone features a 5.5-inch HD display with 1280x720 pixels resolution, and is powered by a Mediatek MT6735 processor paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory. It sports an 8MP rear camera and a 2MP front-facing camera. The phone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop iteration and offers connectivity options including 4G network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, and other standard features.
As far as the price and availability of the phone is concerned, Doogee T6 is expected to be launched in November but the price details are yet to be revealed.
