Dyson Expands Its Air Purifier Range in India With HP2 De-NOx and HP1 Models: Check Price, Specs
Dyson has introduced two new purifiers in India — the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx (HP12) and the Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1. Both are designed to handle the country’s worsening air quality, especially during the winter months when pollution peaks. The focus this time is on tackling gases like nitrogen dioxide (NO₂) and volatile organic compounds, which are increasingly common in Indian homes.

Instead of focusing only on particles, the new models aim to deal with harmful gases and fine dust that can irritate the lungs, skin, and eyes. They also double as heaters and coolers, which makes them more practical for cities where temperatures fluctuate widely through the year.
Smarter Sensors and Real-Time Monitoring
Both purifiers come with built-in sensors that can detect fine particles, allergens, and gases in the air. Once pollutants are detected, the system automatically adjusts its settings to improve air quality. Users can see these readings on the purifier’s display or check detailed reports through the MyDyson app.
Filters That Go Beyond Dust
The HP1 uses a combination of HEPA H13 and activated carbon filters to capture ultrafine particles and odours. The HP2 De-NOx takes it a step further with a new K-Carbon filter, which Dyson says can trap more nitrogen dioxide and even break down formaldehyde.
The filters are part of a sealed system to prevent leaks — meaning pollutants that get trapped aren’t released back into the room.
Whole-Room Circulation and Temperature Control
Dyson’s Air Multiplier system pushes out purified air at high speed, helping it reach across large spaces. The 350° oscillation helps distribute air evenly, instead of creating concentrated airflow in one direction.
Beyond purification, both machines can also heat or cool a room, automatically maintaining the set temperature. It’s a more flexible approach to indoor comfort — one device that can adapt to seasonal needs.
Connected Features and App Integration
These purifiers can connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, allowing remote control via the MyDyson app. The app lets users schedule operations, monitor real-time data, and adjust temperature or airflow from anywhere. Voice control support for Alexa, Google Assistant, and Siri adds another layer of convenience for smart home setups.
Pricing and Availability
The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP2 De-NOx (HP12) is priced at ₹68,900 and comes in White/Gold and Nickel/Gold finishes. The Dyson Purifier Hot+Cool HP1 is priced at ₹56,900, available in White/Silver and Nickel/Silver. Both are being sold through Dyson’s online store and retail outlets in India.
