India is one of the hot spot for OEMs from across the world, especially those in China. In order to tap the smartphone market here, smartphone vendors bring their budget to mid-range offerings for the consumers. Oppo debuted in Indian smartphone market last year, and since then have launched many devices in the country. The company recently also launched the R7 and R7 Lite smartphones in the mid-range segment. Considering that the Indian smartphone market is important for companies, Oppo too does not seem to ignore the market. Moreover, by launching the Neo 7 smartphone first in India, the company will be able to cash in on the festivity.

Reportedly, Oppo Neo 7 will be a slightly bumped up version of the Neo 5, and will have a similar glass panel design. The major change in the design will be in the position of the speaker grille. The Neo 7 will now be moved to the left corner. Besides changes in design, the new smartphone will flaunt a bigger 5-inch display than the 4.5-inch screen on its predecessor and get a bumped up camera, an 8-megapixel rear sensor and a 5-megapixel front camera. Other specifications will include 16GB of inbuilt storage and support for 4G LTE network.

The Oppo Neo 7 smartphone will be available in white and black color options. As for price, going by its specs, it seems to be a budget offering, but to know about its exact price, we will have to wait for the company to announce the phone.
