Oral-B IO Series 2 Electric Toothbrush Launched in India: Check Price, Features, Availability

Oral-B has launched the iO Series 2 electric toothbrush in India, bringing its magnetic drive cleaning system to a more affordable model for users switching from manual brushes. The Oral-B iO2 is listed exclusively on Flipkart from September 12, 2026, with launch pricing between ₹2,449 and ₹2,999, depending on the variant.

The new Oral-B electric toothbrush is positioned as a simpler entry point into the iO range. Instead of app-based features or complicated controls, the iO2 focuses on guided brushing, pressure protection and long battery life. That makes it a practical choice for buyers looking for an electric toothbrush without connected features or a steep learning curve.

Oral-B iO2 features magnetic drive cleaning

The Oral-B iO2 uses the company’s frictionless magnetic drive motor, which sends energy directly to the bristle tips. Oral-B says this helps reduce mechanical noise and rattle compared with conventional gear-based systems. The brush uses a round head and micro-vibrations designed to clean around each tooth more evenly.

According to the company, the iO2 can remove up to 100% more plaque than a standard manual toothbrush. The brush head uses high-density soft bristles, with a design intended to clean along the gumline without feeling too harsh for new electric toothbrush users.

Modes, pressure sensor and battery life

The iO2 comes with a single-touch control system and three brushing modes: Daily Clean, Sensitive and Super Sensitive. The brush starts in Super Sensitive mode by default, which should help first-time users get used to powered brushing before moving to stronger settings.

It also includes an automatic pressure sensor. If the user presses too hard against the teeth or gums, the brush slows down to reduce excess force. A built-in two-minute timer is included to help users follow the brushing duration commonly recommended by dentists.

Oral-B claims the iO2 can last up to four weeks on a single charge. The toothbrush is available in Calm Pink and Night Black. The Night Black variant includes a hard travel case and a dedicated charging dock, making it the more complete bundle for users who travel often.
