Oura’s Smallest Smart Ring Yet Is Now in India, and It Can Last up to 9 Days on a Charge

ŌURA has announced the Oura Ring 5 in India, bringing its latest smart ring with a smaller design, upgraded sensors and health tracking features. The company claims that the new ring is 40% smaller than the Oura Ring 4 and offers up to nine days of battery life on a single charge.

Oura’s Smallest Smart Ring Yet Is Now in India, Costs Rs 39,000

The Oura Ring 5 is available for pre-order in India from October 22, 2026, through Amazon and Croma. Prices start at Rs 39,900 for the Silver and Black finishes, while the Gold, Deep Rose, Stealth and Brushed Silver variants cost Rs 50,900.

Oura Ring 5 Design And Battery Life

The Oura Ring 5 features a lightweight titanium body with a slimmer profile and smoother curves. According to ŌURA, the redesigned sensor domes are intended to improve skin contact and make the ring more comfortable to wear throughout the day and night, including during exercise.

The company has also upgraded the ring's sensing system with more powerful LEDs and 12 optimised signal pathways. These are designed to capture more reliable health data across different finger types and skin tones. The collected data is then analysed by the Oura app to provide personalised insights into sleep, activity, stress and recovery.

The smart ring is available in sizes 6 to 13 and comes in six finishes: Black, Silver, Stealth, Brushed Silver, Gold and Deep Rose. The Gold finish uses a lighter shade, while Deep Rose has a copper-rose appearance.

Battery life is rated at six to nine days on a single charge, depending on the ring size and usage. This could make it easier for users to track their health overnight without having to charge the device every day.

Oura Ring 5 Health Tracking Features

The Oura Ring 5 works with the Oura app to offer health insights based on the signals it collects. The experience includes features for sleep, activity, readiness, stress and women's health, along with tools designed to help users identify changes in their health patterns.

Health Radar builds on ŌURA's earlier Symptom Radar feature. It monitors biometric signals over time to highlight changes that may deserve attention, with a focus on cardiovascular health and nighttime breathing patterns.

Blood Pressure Signals analyses 30 days of nighttime ring data to identify patterns that may indicate cardiovascular strain. Nighttime BP uses overnight photoplethysmography (PPG) signals to highlight blood-pressure-related patterns over time. Users can also log readings taken with a blood pressure cuff in the Oura app.

These are wellness features and do not directly measure blood pressure in mmHg or diagnose medical conditions. Nighttime Breathing also provides a rolling 30-day view of sleep-related breathing patterns, helping users understand changes over time.

For users taking GLP-1 medications, the Oura app offers GLP-1 Insights, which brings medication records together with health data. Users can log doses, schedules, side effects and weight changes alongside information about sleep, activity, readiness and stress.

The feature is designed to help users understand how their medication use and health patterns change over time. According to ŌURA, GLP-1 Insights is available in India in English for members using an Oura Ring Gen3 or newer.

ŌURA's Menopause Insights feature is designed to help women understand how perimenopause symptoms may affect their daily lives. It includes a Menopause Impact Scale, a questionnaire developed by the company's clinical and science teams.

The assessment covers areas such as sleep, mood, cognition and everyday functioning. It then provides an overall impact level and highlights the areas contributing most to the user's experience.

Oura also offers Cardio Effort, which tracks cardiovascular exertion during workouts and compares weekly effort with a personalised baseline based on resting heart rate.

Automatic VO2 Max estimates aerobic fitness during GPS-enabled walks, runs and hikes, without requiring users to complete a dedicated walking test. The feature is available through Oura Labs.
