At IFA this year, many major tech players showcased their smart products with connected technology to work with other devices and offer a better user-experience. Philips has also introduced its new health care products for healthier lives. The company showcased a connected smart brush for kids, named the Philips Sonicare for Kids.

The Philips Sonicare for kids can respond and track brushing in real time. The smart brush is targeted at kids aged five to 19. "Technology is a great way to educate Generation Z; we know that the best way to gain their attention when learning is to be playful, creative and interactive, something we feel we've captured with the launch of Sonicare for Kids connected. It represents our latest approach to inspire healthy mouths and an overall approach to keeping fit and well across the whole family" says Sinead Kwant, Category Lead, Philips Oral Healthcare.

The Philips Sonicare for Kids connected interacts with a training app to guide them the right way to brush. The app connects to the electric toothbrush via Bluetooth and sync data and gives brushing techniques. The app not only shows how the user is brushing, and rewards for a job well done.

With over The oral care product can make 500 brush strokes per second, and is gentle yet effective, the company claims. It is also clinically proven to remove more plaque than regular toothbrush.
