PlayStation Plus Monthly Games August 2023: Free To Play Includes PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams, And Death's Door

Sony has announced the games that will be included in the PlayStation Plus subscription in August. The Japanese tech giant has promised PGA Tour 2K23, Dreams, and Death's Door.

PS Plus, the popular subscription for the PlayStation 4 and 5 gaming consoles will include three popular AAA gaming titles next month. Gamers have a few hours to download this month's games on their consoles.

Sony PS Plus Games For August 2023 Announced, July Games To Be Pulled

PS Plus is PlayStation's online gaming subscription service, which offers multiplayer games, gameplay sessions, as well as extras such as discounted prices for in-game or digital purchases.

Sony offers PS Plus in three tiers: Essential, Extra, and Deluxe. Each tier offers progressively higher and better advantages, which include access to a massive library of current and classic titles.

Subscription to PS Plus Essential costs ₹499 (monthly) / ₹1,199 (3 months) / ₹2,999 (Annual). There are also PS Plus Extra and Premium tiers, but the Essential tier grants access to most of the games unlocked in the other two tiers.

In the month of July, Sony offered Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, Alan Wake Remastered, and Endling - Extinction is Forever. These games will be taken off the list and won't be available to download from August 1, 2023. Hence, gamers should download and install them right away.

In comparison, the games for the month of August aren't quite as attractive but they are popular nonetheless. These include the fantasy game Death's Door and a golf simulation game PGA Tour 2K23. Sony is also throwing in Dreams, a long-running game-creation tool from Media Molecule.

All the games available under the PS Plus subscription can be played as long as gamers remain subscribed. However, gamers must download and install these games in the month they are offered. or else they lose access to the offer.
