Ricoh launches its new series of innovative and high-end projectors in India
Ricoh is touting these new products to be compact, lightweight and extremely versatile projectors.
Ricoh India Ltd, a premier provider of Imaging Solutions and IT services, today announced the launch of its new series of innovative and advanced projectors.
Dubbed as PJ 52440, PJ x2440 and PJ WX2440 the company is touting these new products to be compact, lightweight and extremely versatile projectors. Further, these projectors boast Ricoh's advanced technology, functionality, and reliability.
The new devices have been designed to be ideal for conference rooms and classrooms and offer great connectivity options as well they can be easily carried for any convenient location to project images, videos, and presentations. Users can showcase their work at projection sizes ranging from 30 inches to 300 inches wide diagonally, even when placed only a few feet away from the screen or a wall. As per the company, each of the models deliver excellent color, crisp and clear images and text definition.
Commenting on the launch, Mr. Yuki Uchida VP, and CMO, Ricoh India Ltd. said, "Equipped with Digital Light Processing (DLP) technology, this new range of durable, lightweight, projectors enhance the way information is shared in offices, classrooms, conferences or any set venue. They offer incredible, brighter, clearer and powerful projections that bring life to any message or data being shared to the audience, As always we promise to deliver the best to our consumers and this undoubtedly is one of our best."
The new Ricoh PJ 2440 series has been specifically designed to bring vivid color quality with brighter images. Basically, the products in this series use advanced technology for more precise presentations, more consistency and less lag along with noise levels as low as 31dB. As per the company users can adjust brightness for darker colors automatically to reduce energy usage, without distorting the quality of the image with the 'Eco' Mode'. Although the internal speakers have brilliant sound quality, there is a port for plugging in external speakers. In addition, the lamp life of the projectors can be extended from 5,000 hours to a whopping 6,000 hours.
Ricoh PJ 52440
The entry-level projector, Ricoh PJ 52440 can be used for big screens, still images, PowerPoint presentations and projections of desktop or computer screen. At a brightness of 3,000 lumens and a high contrast of 10000;1, this model promises outstanding performance without compromising on quality.
"With the PJ 52440, you can project images with SVGA resolution at up to 800 x 600 dpi with a 4:3 aspect ratio for easy viewing. This model is simple to set up and use, weighs 2.5kg and comes with HDMI connectivity option," the company said in a media release.
Ricoh PJ X2440 and Ricoh PJ WX2440
Designed for higher quality, more detailed images, and videos, Ricoh PJ X2440 has the ability to project with XGA resolution at up to 1024 x 768 dpi, whereas Ricoh PJ WX2440 can project images with WXGA resolution at up to 1280 2,1 800 dpi. PJ X1440 offer 3,1300 lumens where P1 WX2440 offers 3,100 lumens, coupled with 10,000:1 high contrast ratio mode, users can impress audiences with bright, crisp visuals in even moderately lit rooms.
Both the models feature a 16:10 aspect ratio, multiple input terminals including a built-in HDMI/MHL port to plug In a wider range of multimedia devices like desktop computers, laptops, tablets, DVD and Blu-ray players.
Besides, Optional 3D projection tools can be added for an up-close-and-personal look at CAD drawings, blueprints, special videos and more. For wireless projection. a Wi-Fl dangle can be used.
Price and Availability
The new projectors will be available pan India and as for the pricing, Ricoh PJ 52440 will be retailing at Rs. 32,450 whereas PJ X2440 will come at Rs. 37,760 and PJ WX2440 at Rs. 45,910.
