Samsung has announced a new lineup of Bespoke AI Top Load Washing Machines in India, extending its AI-powered features to a format that remains popular in many Indian homes. Available in 8kg, 10kg, 12kg, and 14kg variants, the machines are designed to cater to a range of family sizes while offering more intelligent, adaptive laundry care.

This move follows the brand’s earlier rollout of AI features in its front load models. With the new top load range, Samsung seems to be bringing those same benefits—like smarter wash cycles and energy management—to a wider audience.

AI That Adapts to Your Laundry

The machines come equipped with AI Wash, a system that automatically adjusts water levels, wash intensity, and rinse duration based on the fabric type and load size. The idea is to improve wash quality without requiring users to manually select every setting.

Another feature, AI VRT+, focuses on reducing vibration and noise during wash cycles. It uses floor-type detection and AI-based adjustments to stabilize the machine in real time—something that may appeal to users in apartment setups or shared homes where noise control matters.

While the AI features headline the announcement, the machines also include several practical options. Eco Bubble tech claims to dissolve detergent more efficiently for better fabric care, while the Hygiene Steam function uses an internal heater to help eliminate allergens and bacteria.

There’s also Super Speed mode, which can finish a wash cycle in under 30 minutes, and Stain Wash, which allows users to select warm or hot water depending on the type of dirt or stain they’re tackling.

Remote Controls and Smarter Energy Tracking

For those who like to manage appliances via their phones, SmartThings integration allows users to start, monitor, or customize wash cycles remotely. The app also provides access to AI Energy Mode, which tracks power usage over time and can help reduce electricity consumption by optimizing wash cycles.

Users can view daily, weekly, or monthly energy reports and even get estimates for their energy bills—something that may appeal to cost-conscious users keeping an eye on rising power tariffs.

Design and Durability

The machines are available in a few color options—Black Caviar, Lavender Gray, Brushed Navy, and a new Deep Charcoal finish. While design isn’t the focus of most washing machine purchases, Samsung is clearly trying to make these machines blend in with more modern home aesthetics.

On the hardware side, all models feature Digital Inverter Technology, and Samsung is offering a 20-year warranty on the motor, pointing to long-term reliability as a selling point.
