Videocon Wallcam and Vodafone launch the 4G bundled CCTV solutions
Videocon and Vodafone together launched 4G enabled CCTV surveillance systems in India that includes vehicle surveillance system and home surveillance system.
Videocon Wallcam shared the stage with Vodafone for the launch of its 4G bundled CCTV products. The products that have been announced include a 4G enabled vehicle surveillance kit and stand-alone 4G enabled Outdoor and indoor CCTV cameras. Both the products offer a 4G sim slot in order to support 4G connectivity.
The vehicle surveillance kit consists of vibration resistant, shockproof and vandal proof 2 Megapixel resolution CCTV cameras along with vibration resistant Digital video recorder (DVR).
The stand-alone 4G CCTV cameras have 2MP resolution and will be 4G and Wifi enabled. They support onboard memory card of up to 64GB capacity.The key features of both the products include night vision, motion detection, Wi-fi connectivity and alarm system.
Mr. Arvind Bali, CEO at Videocon Telecom stated at the launch, "We are pleased to partner with Vodafone for this industry first 4G bundled CCTV solution. CCTV cameras will no longer be limited to stationary and Wi-fi/broadband enabled places."
