Xiaomi to unveil camera-based product on February 1
Xiaomi’s new crowd-funding product to be launched tomorrow.
Xiaomi is highly-anticipated to unveil its next-generation budget smartphone, the Redmi Note 5. In the meantime, it looks like the company is prepping to unveil a new crowd-funded product. While the details about this new product are scarce at the moment, a teaser that has been posted on Weibo hints that Xiaomi's Mi Home will unveil the 153rd crowd-funded product on February 1.

From the teaser image shown above, it is likely that the company might unveil a camera related product. We say so as the translation of the text seen on the teaser reads "human eye" and "120 frames per second", claims a report by MyDrivers. The post also has words such as AR and photos. Well, that's not all as the teaser shared by a leading company in the VR industry of China, Shanghai Hantu Technology (XPRINT) has words such as "AR technology", "mobile phone", "photo" and "video".
We can infer that the product that could be launched tomorrow by Xiaomi could be a kind of a portable printer that will make use of the AR technology. With this advanced technology, this printer is likely expected to let you embed a video in a printed photograph. It is said that as soon as you point your smartphone at a photograph, the product will play a short video of events those will lead to when you clicked the photo.
Having said that we can expect a sort of a portable printer such as a pocket-sized printer from Xiaomi. Anyways, given that the launch will happen tomorrow, we can expect more details to surface online in the meantime. Also, we will get the official information tomorrow at the launch. Until then let's wait for the unveiling of this crowd-funded product from the Chinese manufacturer.

By the end December 2017, Xiaomi announced a 6000mAh ZMI Stainless Steel Powerbank as a crowd-funded product. The company has already come up with many such products such as the Sherlock Mi Smart Lock, Heart Rate Monitor and more. However, only a few of them have made their way into the commercial market and to the other countries outside of China.
