Xreal Unveils Beam Pro: A Sleek Phone with 3D Cameras
Xreal has introduced its latest product, the Beam Pro, designed to enhance the functionality of their Air AR glasses. This advanced device is a significant upgrade over the original Beam, transforming how users interact with augmented reality.
Transforming Augmented Reality with nebulaOS
The Beam Pro runs on nebulaOS, a customized version of Android 14 optimized for AR applications. This platform offers a traditional control interface through a 6.5-inch 90Hz LCD screen, allowing users to manage apps effortlessly. The device also functions as a controller, equipped with motion sensors that turn it into an air mouse.

Capture Stunning 3D Content
One of the standout features of the Beam Pro is its dual 50MP cameras. These cameras, spaced 50mm apart to match the distance between human eyes, capture stunning 3D photos and videos. Synchronizing the sensors to the pixel level and fine-tuning electronic image stabilization specifically for stereoscopic use ensures high-quality 3D content.

Performance
At the heart of the Beam Pro is an unnamed 4nm Snapdragon chipset. Available in two models, the base version offers 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, while the premium version includes 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. Both models support storage expansion up to 1TB via microSD and feature Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2, ensuring robust connectivity and performance.
Connectivity and Charging
The Beam Pro includes two USB-C ports: one for connecting to the Air AR glasses and another for charging the device at up to 27W. This versatility makes it easy to power the Beam Pro while simultaneously using it with AR glasses.
Availability and Pricing
The Beam Pro is now available for reservation, with open sales starting today. The base model is priced at CNY 1,300 ($180/€165/₹15,000), while the premium version costs CNY 1,600. Additionally, a 5G model is expected to launch in August for CNY 2,000, and an enterprise version will be available for CNY 3,000.
