Next-Gen Pebble Smartwatch With Colour E-ink Display Leaks Online
Pebble managed to keep its latest smartwatch hidden for months, but with only hours to go before they officially unveil this 2015 flagship model, it has been outed. Yes, you heard it right!
Pebble has indeed revealed that the new watch model is coming, and will feature a colour e-ink screen. The startup firm actually revealed an alleged image believed to show a new model with a color screen.

According to 9to5Mac, a picture uploaded to Pebble's own servers shows off the next-generation intelligent watch. Leak suggests that Pebble is preparing to unveil a new smartwatch model that may have a colour screen.
Notably, the device looks to have a larger bezel, as well as buttons that are slightly smaller compared to its predecessor. If reports are to be believed, the next-generation watch is going to be thinner than the current generation. Beyond that there isn't much to know about Pebble's upcoming watch.
According to 9to5Mac:
"On the inside, the next Pebble is going to have a Cortex M4 processor and a 6-axis gyroscope. Unlike the Apple Watch, the new Pebble won't have a touch screen, and its resolution is definitely on the low side compared to Apple's upcoming device".
Last month, Pebble CEO Eric Migicovsky announced that the company has sold more than 1 million smartwatches. He even promised that new software and hardware would be unveiled sometime in 2015.
Currently, the original Pebble is priced around $99. The higher-end Pebble Steel is $199.
