No April Fool! OnePlus DR-1 Pocket Sized Drone is Actually Available to Buy Online
After last, OnePlus confirmed that it will be entering the challenging drone market with the OnePlus DR-1. Last week, OnePlus strongly suggested that the "game changer" product it had been hinting at would actually be a drone. Yes, you heard it right!
The much-awaited drone is actually the world's smallest remote-controlled drone, the OnePlus DR-1, measuring just 70mm (2.75 inches) across.

"Aerial drones are the next big thing in consumer technology, and at OnePlus, we pride ourselves on fighting to stay ahead of the technological curve," says the website. "We're proud to say that we've innovated a whole new way of thinking about drones."
Unfortunately you can't control the drone with your OnePlus One smartphone, instead you get a slightly clunky looking remote to operate the quadcopter. It won't have a camera, as "cameras add weight", according to the company. Meanwhile QuickCharge technology will be provide a full charge in less than 20 minutes, with a flight time of 5 to 8 minutes.

The OnePlus DR-1 will be made available in a limited quantity, and it'll cost you as low as $20 (approximately Rs. 1,260).
In other news, OnePlus has announced that its best-selling OnePlus One will be available for purchase on Amazon India without any invitation code. Both the 16GB and 64GB variants are available in an open sale on Amazon India. The 16GB OnePlus One variant is priced at Rs 18,999, while the 64GB variant is priced at Rs 21,999.
"For a very limited time, you won't need an invite to buy the 64GB Sandstone Black OR 16GB Silk White OnePlus One," the company said in a statement.
