Plantronics BackBeat Fit - Battery and Verdict

The company claims users will get at least 8 hours of listening time, 6 hours of calling time and up to 14 days of standby time. This was what we found written on the retail box. Well, in a reality, the BackBeat Fit will hardly disappoint you, at least, in respect of battery life.

Honestly, we used the Fit for a couple of more weeks than designated to us. We managed to get close to 7 hours of listening time, with a small amount dedicated to calling as well. This should be enough to run the headphone for a week.

The BackBeat Fit is a perfect fit for those are looking forward to buy sporty earphones. No doubt, the Fit is an excellent Gym-friendly Bluetooth headphone. Also, the extra added Armband enhances the overall experience. But at the end it is hard to ignore the sound quality.

When tested on Delhi Metro shows up lack of sound clarity in public places. Although wraparound headphones are not comfortable, but we found the BackBeat Fit simply amazing to be used for long periods of wear.

However, the Fit is priced ( Rs. 6,944) on a higher side, especially, in a country like India. The BackBeat Fit is a forward looking earphones, but they will appeal to select users in India.
